Welcome on our websites. In the following, please find some information on how we handle your data pursuant to Art. 13 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Responsibility for the collection and processing of data described below is the body named under ‘Company details’.
When you visit our websites, so-called usage data is temporarily stored on our web server for statistical purposes as a log in order to improve the quality of our websites. This data record consists of
the page which requested the file,
the name of the file,
date and time of the request,
the data volume transmitted,
the access status (file transmitted, file not found)
the description of the type of web browser used,
the IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened in such a way that a personal reference can no longer be established.
The above log data is stored anonymised only.
Data transmission to third parties
In the frame of data processing on our behalf according to Art. 28 GDPR, we transfer your data to service providers who support us in the operation of our websites and the associated processes. Our service providers are strictly bound to our instructions and have signed the respective contractual commitments. They are for example providers offering hosting or web analyses.
We use session cookies and permanent cookies on our websites.
You can object to the processing at any time. To do so, please check the following box. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser to prevent Matomo from collecting any data on your session. This means however that when you delete your cookies, the opt-out cookie will be deleted as well and that you need to re-activate it if you want to use it again.
We take technical and organisational measures to protect you data as comprehensively as possible from unauthorised access. We use an encryption process on our websites. Your data is transmitted from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet by means of TLS encryption. You can recognize this by the fact that the lock symbol in the status bar of your browser is closed and the address line starts with https://
Pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR, we record and use your personal data you provide us when placing an order only for processing your orders.
The data you have collected in this way will be carefully checked by us and registered in the sense of proper data processing. After successful completion of these verification, we generate your access to the spare parts shop and inform you by sending you an email which contains your access data and an initial password. With this, you can log into the spare parts shop where you have to change your password. You receive an individual access, consisting of a user name and an initial password which serves only as a first login to the spare parts shop.
In connection with the use of the spare parts shop, we store the following data related to the respective access data: Time and duration of registration, orders placed (in particular the products with the ordered quantities and the selected customer requests (stock or daily order, key account request, external reference number, fleet or equipment number, recipient, standard or express dispatch, complete dispatch or partial delivery)), the pages called up, dealer data and order data including associated data of end customers. In particular, data will be stored which give insight into the time, the completion, and other activities in connection with the orders placed.
We will store this data for the period of time during which they are relevant in connection with the respective orders. We will save any data you entered voluntarily into your user profile after successful login via the access data (such as name, email address etc.) as an amendment to your customer account which we use to record, carry out and handle your orders. We retain this data for future orders.
The data saved is used not only for handling your order, but also based on Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR for the optimisation of the KRONE offer, to protect the spare parts shop from misuse, and for the technical administration of the websites.
You can contact us by means of a web form. In order to use our contact form, we need your first and last name, your e-mail address, a subject and possibly a vehicle identification number. Optionally, you can give us further data.
Your data is processed on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. We use your data exclusively to process your inquiry.

3. Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR):
You have the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing where one of the preconditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies, e.g. if you objected against the processing, for a period enabling the controller to carry out a respective verification.
4. Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR):

6. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of data concerning you is in breach of data protection legislation.
