1.    Subject Matter and Scope

1.1    KRONE allows you to access the spare parts shop (“Spare Parts Shop”) which is accessible via the internet in order to place online orders within the framework of (i) the operation of this application as provided by KRONE and (ii) the applicable agreements (in particular the Access Data Agreement and the Authorization for the Spare Parts Shop).

1.2    The further contractual arrangements for the sale of spare parts ordered by you and the Access Data Agreement and Authorization for the Spare Parts Shop shall apply additionally.

2.    Access Data

2.1    KRONE allows you to register yourself online as a new user of the Spare Parts Shop. In order to register yourself you must fill in the fields marked as mandatory (form of address, first name, last name, e-mail address, company name, VAT identification number, street and house number, postcode, city, country and landline phone number as well as – in case of new customers – the future form of payment or – in case of existing customers – the KRONE-customer identification number). Furthermore, you must agree to the KRONE conditions of use. Your data thus established will be thoroughly reviewed by us and shall be registered in accordance with the principles of orderly data processing. We will set up your access to the Spare Parts Shop once we have successfully completed the review of the data. We will notify you by an e-mail that provides you with your login data and an initial password. Following this you will be able to log into the Spare Parts Shop. Then, you must change your password. You will be provided with an individual login consisting of a user name and an initial password.

2.2    You will be provided with you individual access data after entering into the Access Data Agreement.

2.3    The initial password will only serve for the initial log in to the Spare Parts Shop.

3.    Extent and Purpose of Data Processing

3.1    Protecting your personal data is important for us. All data processing operations (data collection, data processing and data transfer) are thus carried out by us in accordance with the applicable laws. Logging into the Spare Parts Shop using the access data as well as the use of the Spare Parts Shop require the processing and use of personal data. Personal data are individual details regarding the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. In the following statement we will provide you with an overview of which data we collect, in which ways such data is used and disclosed and how you may make inquiries about the data processed by us.

3.2    In addition to the recorded user data (see above No. 2.1) we store the data which you voluntarily enter into the data fields in your profile or provide for the purposes of establishing contact as well as the data regarding the use of the Spare Parts Shop becoming available in connection with your login data. In connection with the use of the Spare Parts Shop KRONE stores the following data in relation to the respective login data: internet addresses of the used computer systems (IP numbers), time and length of the login, placed orders (in particular the products and quantities ordered as well as any specific customer request (stock or individual order, key account request, external reference number, fleet and/or equipment number, consignee of the goods, standard or express shipping, complete or partial dispatch)), the pages viewed, information regarding the internet browser and the language used, data on retailers and order data including pertaining data of end customers. We in particular store data which provides information regarding time, conclusion and further activities in connection with the placed orders. The data will be stored by KRONE for such length of time as may be relevant with regard to a respective order. Data which you enter into your user profile on a voluntary basis after logging in using the access data (e.g. name, e-mail address etc.) will be stored by us in order to complete your customer account via which we receive, carry out and deliver your orders. Such data is kept available by us for further orders. You may correct or delete such data at any time.

3.3    KRONE uses the stored data for the purposes of carrying out your order, optimizing the KRONE product range, protecting the Spare Parts Shop against abuse and for the technical administration of the web sites.

3.4    In order to improve the user friendliness of our web site we employ small computer programs which are stored by your internet browser (so called “Cookies”). Our Cookies do not contain malware. Our Cookies enable us to identify you as a user and to provide you with content and settings which may be interesting to you. If you wish to exclude the use of Cookies you may easily do so by changing the settings of your internet browser (please use the function of your internet browser for further details). You may also delete Cookies at any time by using the corresponding functions of your internet browser.

3.5    For the purposes of collecting statistical data on the use of this internet service we employ the web analysis service Piwik which stores a recognition Cookie for seven days. No personal data is collected in the context of the transmission of statistical data. However, you may object to the recording of your – already anonymized – user behavior. For this purpose please follow the link in order to allow or disallow the Piwik web analysis service. However, a Piwik deactivation Cookie will be stored or, as the case may be, deleted.


3.6    Please contact us if you have any further questions regarding data protection at KRONE, if you require information with regard to the data stored with us with regard to yourself or if you should notice that data was stored incorrectly and/or data must be deleted according to your view.
